We congratulate all political groups for the fair, peaceful, free and transparent Presidential and Parliamentary elections held in Ghana on 7 December 2016 and results of which were announced by the Electoral Commission of Ghana last night (9 December).

We believe that our current cooperation with Ghana, which is one of our leading partners in our African Partnership Policy, will flourish rapidly in the upcoming period.

In this framework, we congratulate and wish success to the new President-elect H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo, who won the elections.
