Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pay an official visit to France on 10 October 2014 in accordance with the “Joint Political Declaration on the Establishment of a Strategic Framework for Cooperation between Turkey and France", which constitutes a solid and institutional basis for further developing bilateral relations, signed between Turkish and French Foreign Ministers on the occasion of the state visit of H.E. Mr. Francois Hollande, President of France to Turkey on 27-28 January 2014.

During the talks between Foreign Minister Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Foreign Minister Mr. Laurent Fabius, to be conducted within the scope of the visit, bilateral relations between Turkey and France as well as cooperation in the field of fight against terrorism, the European Union and regional and international issues, especially the developments in Syria and Iraq will be discussed. In addition, Foreign Minister Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his counterpart Mr. Laurent Fabius will come together with the prominent representatives of Turkish and French business circles.
